Labs and More Dog Rescue is San Diego’s fastest-growing and most active dog rescue organization. Since its inception, Labs and More has been volunteer-run and committed to saving dogs from the shelter system and strays in Southern California. Labs and More rescues thousands of dogs each year, with over 400 of them needing life-saving medical care. Over the past decade, they are most proud of their long-term relationships with over 13,500 adopting families.
 

Funding from Grey Muzzle will provide medical treatment to abandoned senior dogs facing extreme medical challenges that other organizations do not have the resources to help. The grant will help dogs like Shirley who needs surgery to remove a tumor.
