Josie’s Misfit Ranch is a foster-based rescue in Ellensburg, WA, serving Kittitas and Yakima counties. We focus on rescuing animals wounded in body or spirit, including seniors, the sick or injured, and those needing behavioral support. Through education, compassion, and second chances, we’re building better bonds between humans and animals.

Thanks to the Grey Muzzle grant, our Seniors for Seniors Program will continue matching senior dogs with senior humans, bringing companionship, joy, and peace of mind. We cover all care costs, allowing our senior adopters to enjoy the love of a pet without financial stress, and we’re always here if the animal ever needs to return to us.
