At 8 years old, Prince Ali came to the Humane Society for Southwest Washington (HSSW) as a stray in need of some extra care. This gentle senior had a warm personality—and a mouthful of dental issues that needed attention. Thanks to HSSW’s dedicated senior dog program and veterinary team, Prince Ali received the medical and dental care he needed to feel like himself again.

The real magic came after his recovery: since he was microchipped, Prince Ali’s lost family was found—and they couldn’t wait to bring him back home. Now he’s back where he belongs, with a cleaner smile and a happy heart.

While Prince Ali’s journey is complete, many more senior dogs will get the care they need thanks to support from The Grey Muzzle Organization. With this funding, HSSW will continue providing comfort, healing, and second chances to senior dogs just like Ali.
