Hawaiian Humane Society (HHS) strengthens the human-animal bond and removes barriers to responsible pet ownership. By keeping adoption fees low and providing excellent care, it stays true to its mission. Hawaiian Humane prepares animals for adoption and offers post-adoption support to ensure their success in new homes.
Funding from Grey Muzzle will help Hawaiian Humane Society provide high-quality medical and dental care to senior shelter dogs, reducing barriers to adoption and helping them find loving homes. All senior dogs at Hawaiian Humane receive routine wellness care, but many also require additional dental treatment. With the GMO grant, each dog will receive crucial diagnostic testing and dental treatments to identify and address dental issues and improve quality of life, helping senior dogs like Dottie find loving adoptive homes more quickly.
