Angels of Assisi

Angels of Assisi is a nonprofit animal welfare organization serving Southwest Virginia and West Virginia. With a wide range of services—from a community pet clinic to disaster response and cruelty investigations—they’re reimagining what an animal shelter can be. At the heart of their mission is a commitment to pets and the people who love them.

The Grey Muzzle Organization’s grant is helping Angels of Assisi provide critical medical care for senior and hospice dogs entering their shelter. This support allows for timely treatment, caregiver education, quicker foster placements, and compassionate end-of-life care when needed—ensuring each dog receives dignity and love at every stage.
