Bullwinkle

Bullwinkle is a cute little boy. He's a little timid at first, but a couple of treats will quickly bring him close. He is happy to go out and about and is excellent on leash, keeping up a good pace though he only needs a short walk. He is very comfortable and social around other dogs, being a calm and mild mannered dog in all settings. He shares his space well with his foster siblings. Bullwinkle would do well in a loving home without too much action. He is very endearing, very willing to go where you want to go and do what you want to do. This little guy is easy to like.

Bullwinkle has no teeth, but does just fine without them. He sleeps wonderfully through the night and is a quiet dog. He loves a lap to cuddle up on but is content laying next to you.  Bullwinkle rides great in the car too.

Bullwinkle has a heart murmur and his heart is enlarged. He is on heart medication which he will need to stay on for life. Since he is at risk of developing congestive heart failure, his heart should be evaluated by a veterinarian every three months. He is looking for a home to help him avoid to much excitement, which means limited exercise, no walks, play, or stairs.

Bullwinkle came to POMDR from the SPCA who took him in after his guardian went into assisted living.
