November is Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month at Petfinder!  But any time is a great time to search for a senior dog below.

Cinder was picked up as a very thin stray in St. Louis County. After no one came to claim her, the shelter vet called to see if St. Louis Senior Dog Project could take her. This 8-10 year old girl came to her foster home with kennel cough, a urinary tract infection, and badly needing a dental and a few pounds. Grey Muzzle paid Cinder's veterinary expenses to get her ready for adoption.

With good care, it took just few weeks for her to be happy and healthy and ready for a new home. Despite being older, she was very nimble and loved to run. She was also an affectionate lapdog and a great kisser. Sure enough, the very next month Cinder was adopted by a younger couple who could see her great qualities.

The Grey Muzzle Organization looks forward to assisting the start-up of more organizations like St. Louis Senior Dog Project across the country.
