Bob Jachens is founder and director of German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California's Thulani Program . The Grey Muzzle Organization has provided grants to help support the program since it was founded in 2009. One of the worst nightmares for a rescue intake evaluator is to find a good dog at a shelter that does not have long to live, but is in relatively good shape with some quality time left to it.
