Cheryl Nelson lives in La Crosse, Wisconsin where she has worked in mortgage lending for over 20 years. She has previously volunteered with and served on the board of directors of Greyhound Pets of America – Wisconsin as Treasurer. Cheryl’s four footed family includes a retired racing greyhound, Duncan, and two Maine Coon cats.
In her free time, Cheryl enjoys reading, crafts, sewing, attending greyhound adoption events and volunteering with a cat rescue.
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Masters in Adult Education from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. Her first encounter with Grey Muzzle was through GPA-WI as a past grant recipient, and she is excited to have the opportunity to be able to help even more senior dogs as a part of the Grey Muzzle organization.
