Roxy

    How Grey Muzzle Helped
    Medical Expense Grant

Sweet Roxy, an adorable Cocker Spaniel, was surrendered to Live Love Animal Rescue by her owner after both of them had been living in a car. After a while, it became clear that, although she was very loved, her owner just could not provide the care that Roxy needed. Heartbroken, he decided to give her up.

A grant from Grey Muzzle, made possible by you, allowed Live Love to give Roxy a much needed dental and remove five giant bladder stones. The stones were so large there was no space in her bladder for anything else! Roxy recovered nicely from her procedures and was on the lookout for a forever family.

At first, Roxy went to a foster-to-adopt trial with a wonderful woman, but the woman's asthma acted up and so Roxy was back at Live Love again. Roxy is a social butterfly. She loves all people, kids and other dogs and is a total snuggle bug. She is such a popular pup that she quickly headed out to a second foster-to-adopt.

The family was a little nervous since Roxy would be their first dog and they weren't sure if a dog was for them. Happily, everything went perfectly! Roxy loves her human siblings so much and everyone is thrilled their newest family member!

Sometimes, senior dogs like Roxy need second and third chances. You can give more sweet seniors all the chances they deserve.
